We would love to see what kind of Frost Like Ashes T shirt you can come up with. The deal with this contest is that we want to see the finished product on an actual shirt. The rules are simple, you can put any design you come up with on a shirt, either thru silkscreening, airbrush, hand drawn or a site like cafepress. Then take a photo and email it too us via band@frostlikeashes.com .
We give you until june of this year to get it done, and the winner gets a Born To Pieces 7inch vinyl, Born To pieces poster, an XL Goat Skull Tshirt (if i have another size you need you can have that but i will set aside an XL for this), Tophet CD (psychoacoustix version), Possession - Scourge and Fire, Possession - Eternally Haunt (if i can find my last copy ha ha), and any other merch i can find lying around.
If you make a shirt that is awesome, and feel like pressing some to sell, you have our blessing as long as the run is two dozen or less. seriously, go ahead and spread the word Frost Like Ashes.
Things have been stirring in the Frost Like Ashes camp, and I figured that you deserve an update. In the past we have mentioned some projects that have still not come to fruition, so I would like to take some time to explain everything that is going on, and what to expect in the future from Frost Like Ashes.
We are currently writing our newest album. It is still untitled, but we have a working title that we may go with. who walks in the darkness, This is to be based off of a novel by R. A. Salvatore entitled Homeland. At this point we have a (very) tentative track listing.

We had mentioned two other releases previously, and I wanted to let you know what is going on with those. First, we mentioned an album of cover songs entitled "Covered In Frost", this has been put on hold, now what that means is that we are not planning on releasing an album called "Covered In Frost" at this point in time. We will finish up recording the songs and utilize them all though, the problem is that the cost to get permission to do all the songs at once is not something we can afford to do at this time. So we will finish up some songs, and include them as bonus tracks on upcoming releases, but we will limit it so that it is a touch more cost effective. So basically you will get all the same songs, and possibly eventually we will release them all on the same album, but for now we will find a way to include these songs for you any way that we can afford to do that.
Now concerning the album "Gods of the Great Whore", we will be writing and recording this, but have put on the backburner for a while. This is mainly due to the fact we are planning on basing the story for the album on the book that Azahel is in the process of writing. Azahel has written quite a bit of the book so far, but was set back for a time when his computer crashed. We decided that we wouldnt attempt to write this until the book was complete and edited, so this is being worked on, just not something to expect in the immediate future.
In other news, we have opened up the store for those who live outside of Canada and the USA. Its the Non USA store, please stop by and pick something up.
thanks again for all the support and patience, we appreciate you more than you will ever know.
Azahel did some guest tracks with the band Ecthirion which turned out amazing! They just signed with Soundmass out of Australia. I am excited, this project is great. You can go to thier myspace to listen to Azahels cool refreshing sounds.

write them and tell them how good they are! Great band!
(Azahel is still a full member of Frost Like Ashes, this is just another project he took part in)
It will contain the songs Born To Pieces and Pale Shadows and limited to a strict 300 pressing.
This will feature artwork by Shane Hart, the doctor picture that was on the inside of the CDEP.
I will post more information as I learn more.
